Cybersecurity Lead

The Engineering includes Cybersecurity among a host of aspects and the Cybersecurity team is well supported by the Global Engineering Standards Organization and the Technology to deliver “Project Certainty” to meet our customer’s demands.

Lead Engineer
- Cybersecurity is a member of Emerson’s Cybersecurity group. This position focuses on designing, implementing security solutions based on Emerson’s suite of solutions to meet needs of our customers in the Middle East and Africa world Area. The position is an integral part of a highly technical team focused on developing and delivering these solutions.

He/She will be part of the Cybersecurity deliver team and will be responsible to lead a project sub-team focused on Cybersecurity aspects.

He/She is part of the team responsible to create a positive experience for our customers and delight them with solutions that exceed their expectations and help them to make the systems secure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consulting and assisting customers in development of cybersecurity plans and/or programs

The major responsibilities include the designing and implementing the relevant Cybersecurity technical solution on projects and customer sites. The solutions start with preparation of procedures and policies in line with customer specification, industry standards and best practices and Emerson recommendations. For existing sites, the responsibility includes conducting cybersecurity assessments and prepare a solution based on gap analysis. Providing ISA and Local Standards compliance support services
- Performing vulnerability assessments on customer's control systems, developing assessment reports and suggesting mitigation/remediation strategies

He/She will be then responsible to review these with the customers and implement these on the shop floor for factory acceptance tests and also deliver these on customer systems at sites around Middle East and Africa.
- Implementing recommended mitigation/remediation strategies & Installation, configuration and tuning of Emerson Cybersecurity solutions

He/She will be responsible to select required components, configure those and ensure that the offered solutions meet the specifications and achieve customer acceptance.
- This person is, in particular, expected to work on Security Information and Event Monitoring solutions based on McAfee platform.
- Foster a positive environment in a Cyber Team for work and professional growth.
- Support Emerson MEA with Sales activities as required.
- Perform base customer support activities as needed, including phone support, field service and remote diagnostics, as well as interface with Emerson Field Support Engineers, regional offices and expert resources as needed to resolve issues.
- Participate in customer workshops regarding Cybersecurity evaluations.
- Continually and proactively increase one’s technical capabilities, growing and establishing higher levels of expertise.
- Help to enhance the value of the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence by contributing towards additional group activities/tasks, developing new internal/external solutions, and assisting with training (as appropriate).

**Basic Qualifications**
- The position requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Computer Technology or equivalent.
- The position requires minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementing network segmentation, network monitoring, security event monitoring.
- This position requires detailed understanding of Emerson Distributed Control Systems requirements and applicable Cybersecurity solutions
- Must have acquired at least one of industry certifications such as McAfee Network Security Administration, ISA Cybersecurity Certifications, CISSP, CISA.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in a formal environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Conversant with DeltaV Networking, DeltaV Cybersecurity solutions, and antivirus solutions.
- Possess advanced troubleshooting skills (i.e. diagnosing and resolving computer related issues).
- The ability to work effectively with internal and external customers is essential.

Working knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443 and DeltaV Cybersecurity manual

**Languages**
- Language : English written and spoken is mandatory, Arabic and French at any level are an asset.
