Major Responsibilities & Duties performed: - To perform daily truck check before and after operations - To load goods as assigned by dispatcher or foreman - To report truck abnormality to dispatcher or foreman and send to workshop for repair - To send truck for preventive maintenance as per schedule - To check that tools and material covering are always available with the truck - To ensure that load is secured and protected before leaving the area. - To ensure that truck is locked and in a safe area after duty - To observer proper road courtesy as per government rules and regulations - To perform other duties as may be assigned. Other Responsibilities: - To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies. - To follow safety instructions related to their jobs. - To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff. - To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions. - To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities. - To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible. - To attend safety trainings planned for them. - Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work
