Performs wide variety of tasks involving healthcare information technology to help achieving Organization’s mission and goal. Provides technical assistance in reviewing and evaluating contract(s) related to HITA projects.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Performs wide variety of tasks involving healthcare information technology to help achieving organization’s mission and goal.
- Participates in the formulation, development, implementation and maintenance of Information Management Strategy.
- Reviews, evaluates, and recommends cost effective solutions to business issues.
- Initiates and maintains liaison with vendors as assigned for special projects including Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and follow up.
- Participates in the evaluation and selection process for deployment of emerging information technology.
- Provides technical consultancy to Chief Information Officer and the Deputy Chief Information Officer for the planning, development, and implementation of special projects.
- Provides technical assistance in reviewing and evaluating contract(s) related to HITA projects.
- Provides communication expertise (oral and written) in critical situations with various stakeholders within the Hospital.

**Education**:
PhD’s, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required.

OR: PhD’s or Master’s Degree in Business/Hospital Administration or other related discipline with Bachelor’s Degree in IT related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Eight (8) years of IT experience including five (5) years of experience in consultancy/managerial capacity with PhD’s, eleven (11) years with Master’s Degree, or thirteen (13) years with Bachelor’s Degree is required.
