Medical Operations Director

**Location**: Riyadh
**Role Summary**:
**The Medical Operations Director** will lead the strategic and operational management of a network of polyclinics, with a focus on enhancing clinical performance, revenue and profitability. This includes overseeing departments such as QA/QC, Medical Insurance (RCM), Growth & Business Development, Nursing, physicians, Call Center, Facility Management, Supply Chain, and Branch Admin Supervisors. The Director will drive operational efficiency, resource optimization, continuous improvement initiatives, patient journey, patient outcomes, digitalization and organizational growth through strong leadership and collaboration. He will ensure alignment across departments and contribute to expanding the network and increasing patient satisfaction.

**1- Leadership & Strategic Management**:
- Lead the development and implementation of quality care and control programs to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Oversee and ensure regular audits, inspections, and assessments to uphold high standards of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on quality assurance & enhancement and infection control to maintain the highest standards of patient care.
- Prepare, forecast and monitor annual budgets, operating phase and business reviews and reports on monthly and quarterly bases
**2- Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC)**:
- Oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance and control programs to ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Oversee regular audits, inspections, and assessments to maintain high standards of care and address corrective actions as needed.
- Lead initiatives to improve clinical outcomes, patient safety, satisfaction, and infection control across all polyclinics.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, promoting quality assurance and adherence to regulatory standards.
**3- Insurance And Revenue Cycle Management**:
- Oversee the insurance department, focusing on improving revenue cycle efficiency, claims processing, and reimbursement rates.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation and coding to maximize revenue and minimize denied claims.
- Coordinate with finance to manage contracting and credentialing with payers.
**4- Growth and Business Development Department**:
- Lead the business development strategy to expand clinic services and drive network growth.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, collaborating with senior management and the CEO to develop growth strategies.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and patient demand to make data-driven decisions for expansion and service diversification.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop patient retention and acquisition strategies, community outreach, and brand positioning initiatives.
- Expand network with new projects based on market demands and opportunities by preparing business plans, managing and executing such projects.
**5- Nursing & Physicians management**:
- Oversee nursing operations to ensure high standards of patient care and efficient clinical workflows.
- Manage physicians & medical managers and ensure they have the necessary resources, training, and support to lead clinical teams effectively.
- Collaborate with the medical team to implement clinical guidelines, clinical privileges and best practices.
- Motivate and guide medical managers to meet monthly and quarterly financial targets, while maintaining strict adherence to medical care standards and ensuring patient safety.
**6- Facility & Supply Chain Management**:
- Oversee facility upkeep, safety, and compliance, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Direct maintenance operations, preventive schedules, and biomedical equipment management to ensure functional efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory, reduce costs, and ensure efficient procurement and distribution.
- Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for cost-effective procurement while ensuring quality of materials and resources.
- Develop and manage equipment planning and medical devices procurement committees and prepare annual capex for budgeting purposes
**7- Branch Administration, Customer service and Call Center**:
- Oversee call center operations to ensure efficient handling of appointment scheduling, inquiries, and patient feedback, delivering an exceptional patient experience.
- Implement strategies to enhance call center efficiency, reduce waiting times, and improve overall patient satisfaction.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize call center performance and service quality.
