Flight Simulator Instructor

The CIP (Contract Instructor Pilot) will conduct simulator operations and simulator flight training for the MH-60R aircraft.
- This training will include but not limited to aircraft systems, operating procedures, tactical employment of the MH-60R aircraft and to include flight briefs and debriefs.
- The CIP will assist in teaching, updating and maintenance of related curriculum syllabi, which will include but not limited to instructor lesson guides, simulator scenarios, computer-based training, classroom lectures, and other tasks as the CIP MH-60R Flight Simulator Instructor.
Position Requirements
- A CIP must be, or have been, a qualified helicopter aircraft commander in the MH-60R command or qualified MH-60R CIP within the preceding (5) years, completed at least one operational tour, possess both rotary and fixed wing experience and have a minimum total of 1000 flying hours in combination of military or civilian flight time, 800 of which must be in model.
- FRS instructional tour preferred.
- Requires mental alertness and acute concentration for long periods of time during training scenarios.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods of time (2 hours+), be able to climb 2 flights of stairs, to climb open grated ladders for cockpit access, to lift and carry 50 pounds is required.
- Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.
