Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Support the finance function in recording and retrieving financial details of the company, including maintaining financial records, processing, payments, cash handling, and salaries.
- Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy as per the GAZT, SOCPA, and GAAP & IFRS requirements.
- Plan, organize, and manage workload to ensure contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner.
- Resolution of finance-related queries.
- Preparation of specific footnotes for external financial statements.
- Assist in the development of corporate accounting processes and policies as required.
- Assist in the preparation of data for, and review with, external and internal auditors, including audit files.
- Be able to achieve targets & meet deadlines, both Internal and External.
- Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring, and controls.
- Experience in supporting direct line manager in building 3Yr and 5Yr business plans.
- Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost-reduction initiatives.
- Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentation.
- Experience in IKTVA is extremely important.
- Provides leadership in the development of the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- Other tasks and projects as required.
- CA from ICAEW / ICAP / ICAI is a must
- Minimum 15 years of Finance experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP & SOCPA.
- Oracle/NetSuite /SAP experience is a plus.
- Public accounting experience is required.
- Experience in auditing firms or large international manufacturing companies will be a plus.
- Relevant experience in audit and costing is advantageous.
- Excellent strategic planning skills and ability to interact with all levels.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX is advantageous.
- Based in Saudi Arabia.
