This is exactly what our vision and promise stand for**:We turn Spend into Value.** - As a Tactical Buyer you will be responsible for tactical and operative procurement projects in the area of "Indirect Spend" - You will carry out tenders, price and contract negotiations independently and in coordination with the requesting function, set up framework agreements and ensure their consistent use - You proactively advise the requesting function in procurement-related project management - You manage the relevant contracts within your procurement area - You will collaborate with global Cluster Management and actively participate in the design and implementation of the purchasing strategy and the development of strategic supplier partnerships - You support Cluster Management in implementing the global strategy for the indirect Clusters in your area of responsibility - You identify and evaluate Suppliers: research and assess potential suppliers for machine lines, considering factors such as price, quality, delivery speed. - Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate pricing, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the best package according to requirements. - Manage Purchase Orders: Place and manage purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and clear. - Coordinate with Project Managers: Work closely with project managers to determine requirements and project timelines. - Monitor Supplier Performance: Ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations and maintain high standards of quality. - Cost Analysis: Review and assess total procurement costs, including product price, transportation, and delivery costs. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local and international procurement regulations. - Resolve Issues: Address any issues or discrepancies that may arise with orders or invoices. **Who we are looking for**: - You have successfully completed an university degree (business administration, engineering or similar) - You have several years of professional experience in procurement, along with a passion for expanding an international network - You are familiar with setting up and negotiating contracts in IT (Hardware & Software), Professional Services, Facility Mgmt., etc. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the machinery and manufacturing industry, preferable with brands like Salvagnini and Trumpf - You are very familiar with negotiating and drafting complex contract constellations - You have an independent, results - and implementation-oriented way of working as well as strong teamwork skills - You impress your environment with a confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to different interlocutors - You are proficient in MS Office and are business fluent in written and spoken English **What we offer**: **Contact**: Permanent Engineering & urban mobility Procurement and Supply Management Career starters (0-2 years)
