**Job Description and Qualifications**

The Construction Lead - Civil provides general management, guidance, and leadership for the construction team and full support to the Construction Management Team.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is accountable for the following end results:

- As a Construction Lead, be an active participant in all HSE related matters on site and set an example to all in this regard.
- Regularly attend Construction Toolbox talks before shifts by rotating through all contractors to ensure a 100% compliance from all Contractors.
- Attend Weekly HSE, Progress and other meetings as required.
- Reports to the Construction Manager as Construction Lead Civil on assigned projects during Construction and Precommissioning phases of the project. Coordinate with company and Contractor Engineers and Construction managers
- Executes assigned work in accordance with the Project and Construction Execution Plan and applicable Project Procedures and Standards. Ensures that the work follows the applicable HSE and Quality Standards and sound construction best practices, standards and procedures at all times.
- Ensure that the Work Pack of the Project when it is received from Project Management, is fully complete and that all required information in included in such Work Pack.
- Ensure, as a minimum, that all material and equipment is available, when Work Pack of Project is received from Project Management and that all required Engineering Drawings are included.
- Acting in an Owner or PMT role, leads a team of direct and indirect reports to deliver projects safely according to the agreed scope, budget and schedule.
- Delivers value through the active usage of Constructability Studies and Workshops to generate alternatives to execute the project and ensure that all aspects regarding craneage, scaffolding, access, etc. have been properly evaluated during the Construction Process.
- Manages the interfaces between the various parties on the project including Engineering, Contractors, Vendors, Operations, HSE and Quality.
- Leads the planning and execution of the field work in conjunction with - and under the leadership of - the Construction Management.
- Ensures that the contractors are progressing within the agreed manhour and cost budgets and in accordance with project schedule. Reports any deviations and applies agreed corrective actions where required.
- Provides input to the project controls team for cost and schedule reporting.
- Ensure that all scope changes are properly raised and recorded to cover manhours, costs and schedule impacts and coordinate on review of change order documents.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities

Work Experience:

- Should have a minimum experience of 15 years in the Construction Management of Projects in power or oil/gas industries (mainly related to Architectural, Civil and Structural disciplines)
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent job experience
- Construction Management certification from any reputed body
- KSA experience preferred
- Saudi Aramco experience preferred.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

- Should be familiar with the relevant Saudi Aramco / International Standards
