**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Establish and maintain effective systems for identifying, assessing, and controlling potential hazards and risks.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and internal stakeholders.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices, and implement enhancements to our health and safety program.
- Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on health and safety performance.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing health and safety strategies and programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
