The opportunity

The role is in place to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and develop property-specific operating strategies that achieve the required standards.

They must be responsible for managing several operational contracts on behalf of the client, overseeing the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g., direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals.

Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with architects and project teams to understand the acoustic requirements and design suitable sound systems.

Conducting site surveys to assess the specific needs and challenges.

Developing detailed technical specifications and system designs for audio and electronic equipment.

Overseeing the installation and setup of audio systems, public address systems, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, and related electronic equipment.

Ensuring that the equipment is installed correctly, according to the design specifications and industry standards.

Configuring and calibrating audio systems to achieve optimal sound quality.

Conducting thorough testing and quality checks of installed systems to verify their functionality and performance.

Identifying and troubleshooting any issues or technical problems that arise during the installation or post-installation phases.

Collaborating with technicians and other team members to resolve technical issues promptly.

Developing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the ongoing functionality of the electronic systems.

Performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on audio equipment and related electronic components.

Staying up to date with technological advancements in the field and recommending upgrades or enhancements to existing systems when necessary.

Creating comprehensive documentation including system diagrams, wiring diagrams, and user manuals for installed systems.

Providing training and technical support to staff and volunteers on how to operate and maintain the audio systems.

About you

You will have a degree qualification in electronic engineering and be a member of a professional body. You have a strong knowledge of audio systems, signal processing, and acoustics. You have experience in designing and installing sound systems. You have proficiency in using audio analysis tools and software. You must be an Arabic speaker and a practicing Muslim, due to the project of this position.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
