**Job Description Summary**:
- The Senior IT Computing Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s physical and virtual computing infrastructure, utilizing their expertise in several of the relevant technologies, to ensure optimal reliability and performance of supported IT solutions at JHAH.

**Operational Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Implement configure maintain support and monitor the organizations IT computing infrastructure including servers storage virtualization platforms cloud solutions operating systems client systems directory services backups disaster recovery environment and other computing and data center related resources to ensure they are reliable stable scalable secure and perform optimally
- Perform regular IT computing infrastructure capacity assessments to plan for any projected increase or decrease in utilization of resources
- Ensure that IT computing infrastructure complies with relevant best practices regulatory requirements enterprise architecture standards governance programs and cybersecurity policies
- Manage engagements with contracted vendors for IT computing infrastructure support managed services or professional services to ensure that service delivery meets the targeted scope time cost and quality constraints
- Investigate and resolve IT computing infrastructure related incidents in compliance with the organizations relevant policies and procedures
- Fulfill IT computing infrastructure related service requests in compliance with the organizations relevant policies and procedures
- Evaluate and process IT demand requests involving IT computing infrastructure and support fulfillment of those that are approved in compliance with relevant policies and procedures and by following the organizations IT project management framework
- Mentor and guide junior colleagues
**Minimum Education Required**:
- Bachelor's Degree in the field of Information Technology or in a relevant field.
**Professional Certifications Required**:
- Sample of preferred certifications:.Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Data Center.Redhat certifications.Microsoft certifications.Cloud certifications.Project Management Professional (PMP).IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL)
**Years of Experience**:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in relevant field.
