Logistics Coordinator MEET-KSA-Jazan-JIGPC Job Description and Qualifications

The Jazan IGCC is the world’s largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.

The Role: Logistics Coordinator

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and lead logistics operations, including the transportation of materials, equipment, and resources
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to optimize logístical processes and improve overall project efficiency
- Supervise and track shipments, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing any potential delays or issues
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipping, and transportation activities, providing regular updates to collaborators
- Implement efficient logistics solutions without compromising on quality and safety standards
- Evaluate reliable suppliers, to secure favorable terms for transportation and logistics services
- Proactively identify and address potential logístical challenges, developing contingency plans for risk mitigation
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and project-specific requirements in all logistics operations

This Logistics Coordinator position plays a vital role in supporting the flawless flow of materials and resources, chipping in to the success of our projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven track record in Logistics, preferably in the oil and gas sector
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse project collaborators
- Certification or membership in relevant professional bodies is helpful
