Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery, utilities, and facilities equipment.
- Diagnose faults, repair, and replace defective parts promptly to minimize downtime.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) according to schedules and record all work completed.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete shift reports as required.
- Work collaboratively with production and operations teams to resolve issues effectively.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Keep spare parts inventory updated and liaise with suppliers when necessary.
- Participate in training and development to maintain up-to-date skills and certifications.

**Requirements**:

- Relevant technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics) and electrical systems (motors, control panels, PLCs).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including shift work and call-outs if required.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Preferred**:

- Experience working with PLCs and automated production lines.
- 17th/18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (if electrical bias).
- Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Pay: ﷼7,000.00 - ﷼25,000.00 per month
