**Position Title**: Irrigation Inspector (Utility)
**Location/Term**: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
**Supervision**: Site Inspections, Quality Assurance, Compliance Monitoring
**Reports to**: Senior Water Utility Engineer

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Site Inspections**: Inspect irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip irrigation, and pump stations, ensuring compliance with approved designs and standards.
- ** Quality Control**: Verify installation quality, identify non-conformities, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- ** Testing & Commissioning**: Assist in testing and commissioning to ensure proper operation and water distribution.
- ** Material Verification**: Inspect irrigation materials and equipment for compliance with approved specifications.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain inspection records, test results, and submit regular progress reports.
- ** Compliance Monitoring**: Ensure adherence to local regulations, environmental standards, and best practices.
- ** Contractor Coordination**: Collaborate with contractors to address irrigation-related issues and provide recommendations.
- ** Safety Assurance**: Monitor safety during irrigation works, addressing hazards as needed.

**Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
- Familiarity with codes and standards for irrigation design and installation.
- Ability to interpret irrigation designs and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Degree with 3+ years or diploma with 7+ years in irrigation inspection or installation.
- ** Experience**:

- 3-7 years in inspecting irrigation systems for infrastructure or utility projects.
- ** Certifications**:

- Registered Engineer with Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
- Certification in irrigation systems or quality assurance preferred.
- ** Languages**:

- Proficiency in English (mandatory); Arabic (advantage).
- ** Skills**:

- Proficiency with inspection tools and environmental standards.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
