To support the Finance team within the Air Products Qudra (APQ) Finance Department. This job position is responsible for maintaining the corporate general ledger for group Companies including preparing monthly financial statement. This position is also responsible for reporting monthly management account, initiating disbursements for expenses, coordinating the calculation, processing, posting, verifying, and maintaining data and payments to accounts payable.**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare monthly financial statements, producing accounting reports, and checking them for accuracy for Group Companies including consolidation financial statement.
- Reviewing the corporate general ledger and preparing Management Information Systems reports (detailed accounts line items) on monthly basis
- Collecting and verifying financial information and maintaining a general ledger by coordinating daily financial transactions
- Preparing and reviewing vendors payments and claims and ensuring accurate GL posting & reconciliation of GL balances.
- Coordinating Consolidating and analyzing financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
- Preparing variance analysis actual vs budget and reporting on monthly basis.
- Tracking budget monthly utilization & monitoring of project expenses
- Resolving financial problems, performing audits, and analyzing profit loss
- Assist with daily banking requirements and addressing lenders requirement.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Ensure compliance with SCOPA and IFRS principles
- Supporting finance team in preparing budget and forecasting activities
- Assisting team in preparation of monthly VAT & Withholding returns
- Dealing with internal and external auditors and preparation of schedules.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Master degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting
- 15 Years of experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
- Knowledge about Accounting, Finance & Valuation
- Knowledgeable in financial computer software.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Problem solving ability
- Excellent time management and ability to meet constant deadlines
