Participate in the formulation, development, implementation, and revision of **procurement strategies and policies and procedures.**:

- Analyze all suppliers to select the most suitable suppliers who can deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
- Negotiate with suppliers on lead-time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
- Evaluate supplier quotes and review **purchase orders,** **contracts, proposals, and vendor/supplier agreements** from technical, legally and financial perspectives.
- Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier preferencing study.
- Define and maintain documented category and supplier strategies using market and competitive data.
- Develop, implement, and drive the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets.
- Review and manage the **supplier base** to ensure consistency with the procurement sourcing strategy.
- Perform regular performance review with suppliers to drive continuous improvements.
- Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements.
- Ensure commercial, legal, and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
- Adopt appropriate **supplier management methodologies**and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
- Asist the Procurement Manager in developing SAMIF's material **sourcing **strategy and provide the needed technical study and analyses.
- Define and maintain **documented supplier categorization database **using
- technical and financial data and research.
- Adopt appropriate **supplier management methodologies**and procurement strategies in purchasing to secure better prices.
- Prepare, implement and oversee **effective negotiation tactics**with all suppliers/vendors to ensure payment terms are managed and optimized in favor of SASIF resulting in improved cash flow and a significant reduction in deposit invoices pre-event.
- Provide professional and technical assistance in preparing **RFPs, POs and procurement documents of a routine nature.**:

- Provide the management with information needed for **planning and assessment **including qualitative and quantitative metrics to capture, report and evaluate the performance of all procurement activities.
- Attend **events, fairs and exhibitions** to keep abreast of the market’s trends
- Analyze **market and delivery systems** in order to assess present and future material availability.
- Engage and support procurement team by **providing guidance on technical matters**including advising on appropriate procurement mechanisms, the pre-qualification of suppliers, checking contractual terms/conditions, liaising and negotiating with potential suppliers.
- **Asist the Procurement Manager in** t**raining** the division's personnel on effective procurement processes and ensure that proper trainings are being arranged and provided, as required.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned by higher management
