Operate and monitor sewage treatment processes and equipment, including pumps, aerators, clarifiers, and filtration systems.
- Maintain optimal treatment performance by adjusting flow rates, chemical dosages, and operational parameters.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and discharge standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor plant performance and identify potential issues.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors, PLCs, control panels, and automation systems.
- Perform electrical wiring, circuit testing, and diagnostics to ensure safe and efficient operation of all electrical components.
- Work with engineers to install, upgrade, or replace electrical equipment as needed.
- Assist with the calibration and troubleshooting of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems and automation controls.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure mínimal downtime and optimal performance of plant equipment.
- Address electrical faults, alarms, and breakdowns promptly to reduce operational interruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, maintenance logs, and performance metrics.
- Generate reports on electrical system performance, maintenance activities, and plant operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding plant status, operational issues, and safety concerns.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols when operating electrical systems and handling wastewater-related equipment.
- Participate in safety drills, training, and health checks to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in emergency response procedures when required, particularly for electrical faults or plant failures.
