- To work as per job Instructions given by his Foreman / Supervisor
- To work with personal safety & the safety of others being the 1st priority
- To maintain the standards of house-keeping & safety set by the department / company
- As a team to assist and work with shift people.
- To carry-out the planned jobs inside the plant as per the instruction of supervisor.
- Carry-out the jobs like gearbox, pumps, cylinders, valves, roller assembly etc. overhauling & report to his supervisor
- To be able to do welding jobs. (Should be multi skilled )
- Understand / read Basic Mechanical Drawings and perform activity in line to drawing.
- To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
- To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
- To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
- To attend safety trainings planned for them.
- Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
- To attend preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, scheduled maintenance as per departmental PM plan
- To observe the equipment in the area of maintenance, report and take corrective actions in communication with superior.
