Your tasks and responsibilities - You will manage day to day accounting transactions in adherence to Siemens’s policies and IFRS. - You will be responsible for the timely review and reconciliation of inter-company transactions. - You will drive the coordination with the AP, AR, and GL teams to ensure accurate and timely posting of JVs. - You will ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly. Coordinate on accounting and reporting issues with Zone/Hub. - You will be the point of contact for employee expense claims, take ownership of the review and verification of CONCUR entries. - You will provide support to business units and functional groups on accounting guidance for accounting and reporting topics. - You will work to ensuring accuracy of books and records by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution. - You will ensure the timely processing of a variety of payments. - You will create journal entries and analyze complex schedules. - You will develop analysis and reconciliations of related GL accounts, identify open items and coordinate with concerned departments for resolution. - You will support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor. - You will implement process improvements in your area of work and execute special projects as assigned. Your qualifications and experience - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent. - Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience, preferably in a multinational organization. - Deep knowledge of MS Excel, previous experience with formulas and PIVOT tables is preferred. - Good understanding of accounting policies and IFRS. - Experience using SAP & CONCUR is a plus. - Strong level of English communication. - Multicultural exposure is preferrable Your attributes and skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong drive and focus for results - Strong attention to details.
