Our client, a leading Construction Project Management Consultancy, is in search of a talented Senior Cost Engineer to join their team for a high-level PIF (Public Investment Fund) project located in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of project cost management, including cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Collaborate closely with project teams to develop detailed cost plans and schedules.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessments to identify potential cost overruns and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor project expenditures and track against approved budgets.
- Prepare accurate and timely cost reports for stakeholders, highlighting variances and providing insights for decision-making.
- Participate in value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising quality.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the cost engineering team.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cost Engineer within a consultancy business, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of cost estimation techniques, cost control principles, and project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Prior experience working on PIF projects or similar large-scale infrastructure projects is highly desirable.

Location: Abha, Saudi Arabia

**Salary**: Up to 40,000 SAR per month, commensurate with experience
