**Job Description**:
Lead Structural Engineer with Piling and Retaining walls experience for KSA Location.
- Review and verification for structural steel members by E-TABS, STAAD.Pro V8i, SAP2000, MATH CAD, PROKON, IDEA STATICA, STRAND7 & Etc.
- Verification of Main structure, temporary structure, connection design report ancillary packages like MEP, HVAC, chandeliers, fall ceiling systems, glass partition, hand rails, stairs, lifts, Scaffolding tower
- Temporary steel support verification report, reviewing on tower crane grillage foundation, tower crane ties, hoist access platform, lifting trolley, and temporary ramp design verification for mobile crane marching, etc.,
- Design and verification of oil and gas supporting platforms and pipe rack supporting structure.
- Reviewing and provide approval on RFI’S, FCN’S and NCR’S to resolve site issues. Frequent visit to site inspects steel elements and issues design NCR'S.
- Reviewing material submittals, method statements, PQD,etc., Preparing and maintain steel structural logs to track the flow of work

**Essential**
- Civil or Structural engineering degree (4 years);
- Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience;
- Minimum 5 years design consultancy experience on design of a range of concrete and steel building structures.
- Expertise in Material Submittals and Method statement review, Shop drwings.
- Familiar with BS, ACI codes. Familiarity also with Euro code will be beneficial.
- Can carry out multidisciplinary coordination with minimum supervision.
- Can communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.

**Responsibilities**
- Have a good understanding of building structures, their stability and load transfer systems and be able to analyse those appropriately according to project stage and complexity with minimum supervision
- Can carry out structural design of elements of building structures, underground structures and light civil structures in reinforced concrete, steel and masonry using British Standards and American standards.
- To be able to design to Euro codes if required.
- Familiar with American seismic code UBC and IBC
- Can analyse and design of foundation and retaining structures with minimum supervision.
- Can coordinate with architects and building services engineers, and other structural engineers. Be familiar with issues affecting other related disciplines. Be able to communicate design issues clearly in English.
- Has good understanding of buildability.
- Can investigate alternative solution and cost implication with minimum supervision.
- Can coordinate with and supervise draughtsmen. Be able to communicate design requirements with minimum supervision.
- Can check drawing production. Can understand and implement document control procedures for calculations and drawings.
- Can carry out design checks on the work of other engineers with minimum supervision.
- Can attend meetings and communicate with other engineers
- Can prepare calculation report with minimum supervision.
- Can deal with site queries with minimum supervision.
- Be responsible for the correctness and accuracy of his work with minimum supervision.
- Has the ability can take initiative to learn and increase technical and managerial competence.
- Working towards becoming a member of the Institution of Structural Engineers
