Woodston Personnel are seeking an experienced **Radiation Oncology Consultant**to join a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia.

This physician will be eligible to diagnose, treat and admit patients. He/She should be capable of independently providing high quality patient care in Radiation Oncology.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

- Independently provide direct patient care in Radiation Oncology, (ward rounds, clinics, on-calls)

- Independently provide consultations to other specialties in the hospital

- Evaluate and manage patients referred for radiation therapy and treatment, which include initial assessment, recommendation of treatment, follow-up and management of treatment side effects.

- Participates in multidisciplinary clinics and conferences and other related activities

- Prescribe and administer radiotherapy dose to patients

- Perform intracavitary brachytherapy and verify the insertion

- Participate in the department/division administrative meetings

- Participate in the department/division educational meetings (journal club, tumor board, lectures, etc)

- Participate in the department/division research activities

- To supervise the sub consultant physicians

- Participate in training and education of rotating residents and junior staff members

- Perform and over other duties as delegated by the chairman or division head

- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies and procedures

- Perform other job related duties as assigned
- Responsibility level:_ Non-supervisory
- Relations and Communications:_ Exhibit professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills
- Decisions and Judgements:_ Have a high standard of medical ethics, sense of responsibility as judged by supervisor and colleagues, demonstrate leadership and administrative skills
- Mental Demands:_ Ability to proficiently achieve/perform all procedures stated in the Medical Staff Patient Care Privileging Form, Certified Basic LIfe Support (BLS), Knowledgeable of Hospital Medical Staff By-Laws

Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification

US Board/ FRCS - Irish, UK, Canadian, New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma d'Etudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub
- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / BelgiuM/Finland / Spain

Must have at least 3-4 years’ experience after being certified by a specialty board

Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
