Trains and supervises of junior staff, operates and maintains signage equipment and designs and manufactures bilingual signs.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Receives requisitions for signs, answers questions and resolves issues regarding signs with the requesting department and makes design recommendations according to the Hospital signage guideline.

2. Trains new employees on Sign Making.

3. Ability to perform work requiring physical exertion and exposure to varying physical locations.

4. Maintains proper inventory materials and production supplies to ensure timely completion of work.

5. Prepares and sets-up sign making equipment for making signs in Arabic and English.

6. Operates sign making equipment, laser engraving machine, and computer/graphics-vinyl letter cutting, hot press foil stamping.

7. Prepares and fabricate signs with various plastic and metal materials for utilization throughout the Hospital and related properties.

8. Creates special computer graphics/designs for signage as requested.

9. Prepares signage for symposiums and workshop upon request.

10. Performs, repairs and periodic maintenance to ensure sign making equipment is properly maintained and repaired.

11. Maintains detailed records of work performed.

12. Participates in Self & Hospital’s quality improvement plan.

13. Follows all Hospital policies and procedures.

14. Performs any other related duties as assigned.

15. Participates in self and other’s education training and development, as applicable.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree/Diploma in Graphic Art, Design or other related discipline required.

**Experience Required**:
One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree or three (3) years of related experience with Associate’s Degree/Diploma required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Familiarity with Computer Graphics/Design Software (Photo Shop, Corel Draw and in Design)
- Bilingual (Arabic/English).
