Works with different functions to translate the demand into physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements. You also will be responsible for Material Data Management, inventory control. As a materials Planning Leader, you will be responsible for: - Works with sourcing, logistics and production planning teams to convert the demand plans into Supply. - Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs - Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory. - To prioritize delivery dates as needed (push outs, pull ins). - Manage item gate keeping into ERP. - Manage items attributes (make/buy, LT, etc.. ). - Define & lead recovery plan for Excess, SMI, & OBSO. - Mange inventory estimates. - Ensuring operational alignment with production plans and KPI's to deliver products on-time. - Optimizing inventory and process improvements to create effective enhancements. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to share data and information. - Exchanging data and information interaction concerns and also improvements in products, processes and procedures. - Handling standardized manufacturing processes. Guidelines for choosing the right actions. Processes and procedures are frequently updated by other functions and have to be implemented in the department. - Leading a small manufacturing unit or a part of a bigger unit with a budget > $ 1.5 million. **Fuel your passion** To be successful in this role you will: - Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing). - Have a minimum of 4 additional years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution. - Have experience in ERP and MRP systems **Work in a way that works for you** We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
