Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Engineer to join our team In this role you will get to p rovide technical support to IT Department in the development and execution of various projects related to IT and infrastructure projects..

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Provides in-person analytical and technical support for the installation, repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, modifications and enhancements to individual workstations, personal computers, related hardware, and software.
- Support IT operations and provide hands on as well as Remote support to the Project and related Office/s as deemed necessary.
- Install, configure & setup equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation and troubleshooting of Windows based desktops operating systems.
- Knowledge / ability to install, administer, configure and troubleshoot all Microsoft products including but not limited to - Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, OWA, MS Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint.
- Understands the concept of and able to provide first level user support for Electronic Document Management Systems.
- Understands the concept of and able provide first level user support for Project Control Systems e.g. Primavera and Collaboration Services e.g. Microsoft SharePoint.
- Maintain and manage the local IT Hardware inventory including spares.
- Work with third-party vendors and contractors in handling routine installation, maintenance and use of their products and services.
- Assists with project mobilization activities; may work with projects having to do with IT infrastructure hardware, as directed.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position that may be appropriate
- Prepares technical correspondence, reports and studies.
- Functions as a technical expert in performing analyses in specialized areas.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned and requested. Provides research and recommendations for improvements of existing systems.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- 2-3 years of related work experience providing support to end users or working in an IT support role, or an equivalent
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve technical issues, questions and problems with hardware and software configurations.
- Written and oral communication skills in English is must for the position including the ability to speak very well in basic professional situations and present technical data in a logical manner that is easy to understand (may include communication via telephone, in person, or presenting to small groups).
