**Overview of the role**:
Responsible for managing and control of all planning engineers at various projects to enable them developing, tracking and guiding the most appropriate method and sequence of MEP activities in conjunction with the Contract Requirements and Main Contract Programme in order to ensure the project is completed timely and on budget. Ensure that planning engineers at various projects are providing the proper service to the projects managers. Generating weekly and monthly high level reports to management indicating risks and concerns at early stage. Responsible for all claims including prolongation, acceleration, disruption.. etc. maximize utilization of planning resources to serve multiple projects by sharing the work load

**What you will do**:

- Support planning engineers in developing and obtaining approval of MEP Contract Baseline Programme.
- Monitor progress of engineering tasks, including preparing Engineering Registers and highlighting variances.
- Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring timely deliverables and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor work progress, update Baseline Schedule, and prepare progress reports.
- Organize weekly meetings with project team and specialist subcontractors.
- Identify manpower requirements and monitor labor productivity.
- Develop Testing & Commissioning schedule in line with Baseline Programme.
- Identify variations impacting the programme and delay events.
- Notify delays in accordance with Contract Conditions.
- Prepare delay analysis impact programme

**Required Skills to be successful**:
**Minimum Experience**:
15 years of experience in Planning of MEP Projects.

**Job-Specific Skills**:

- Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera (P6-V6)
- Knowledge of Contracts (FIDIC)
- Strong knowledge of delay analysis
- Excellent Communication & letter writing Skills
- Interpersonal skill, ethical values and commitment to continual improvement
