The Pump Station Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining pump stations to ensure the efficient and effective management of water and wastewater systems.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in water or wastewater operations is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining pump stations in the water and wastewater industry.
- Knowledge of pump station operations, including monitoring and adjusting pump performance, maintaining equipment and systems, and performing preventive maintenance.
- Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot pump station issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work in varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
