Introduction
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
- Cultivate the Asian Fusion experience towards the customers.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
- Design new recipes, plan menus, and select appealing plate presentations.
- Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy, etc.)
- Implement hygiene policies and inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality.
- Communicate the importance of safety procedures, detail procedure codes, ensure employee understanding of safety codes, monitor processes and procedures related to safety.
- Review staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty and integrity; lead by example.
- Train kitchen staff such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwasher.
- Establish goals including performance goals, budget goals, and team goals.
- Oversee the delivery of food supplies, prepare special dishes, and supervise overall kitchen operation.
- Perform administrative tasks and take stock of food & equipment supplies.
- Obtain feedback on food and service quality and handling customer problems and complaints
Skills Requirements
- Degree in Culinary Arts is required.
- Specialization in Asian Fusion Cuisine and work experience.
- 10 years of minimum work experience.
- Strong working knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, safety, and sanitation practices.
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking, and pastry techniques along with food profession principles and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of back of the house systems, ordering, and inventory.
- Outstanding time management abilities. Works quickly and accurately during busy periods such as weekends evenings. Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Good sense of planning and preparation for the day ahead.
- Diligent and meticulous in making and receiving orders.
- Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Chef: 10 years (preferred)
