**Summary**:
The role is to perform all maintenance and repairs on ML assets including trucks, trailers, and yard equipment, and execute testing of mechanical and electrical components on assets using standard test equipment, analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine the need for adjustment/replacement.
- Repairs and maintains all trucks, trailers, and yard equipment.
- Performs preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
- Identifies and resolves asset malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- Responsible for the efficient and safe methods of work in the Port, yards, and on the roads.
- Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in handling and basic diagnostics of port equipment, mobile plant, CAN-bus, Scania; with particular emphasis on top-loaders, side lifters, forklifts and diesel engines, maintenance, fault diagnosis & repair
- Must have SCANIA heavy vehicle and equipment diagnosis & repairing experience.
- Worked with SCANIA authorized dealers or OEMs.
- Good Knowledge of machines and tools.
