**JOB PURPOSE**
- To contribute materially to the lending and financial advisory activities of the Corporation in accordance with the APICORP lending philosophy and guidelines with the ultimate objective to enable the Business Group to achieve its objectives as per the annual budget and 5 year roll-over strategy.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Accountability**
:
- To contribute in the most efficient and effective manner to the marketing efforts of the Business

Group to allow the Corporation to grow its market franchise in lending and in financial advisory;
- To contribute in the most efficient and effective manner to deal executions process;
- To perform satisfactory risk analysis in respect to transactions referred to him as well as

satisfactory monitoring of the transactions in his portfolio;

**Principal Functions**:

- Contribute to the preparation of the marketing plan, the budget and the medium-term strategy

for the Business Unit;
- Contribute to maintaining and growing the client portfolio of the Business Unit;
- Execution of transactions as per good practice of international financial institutions.

**Content complexity**:

- Complexity relating to credit assessment and structuring;
- Complexity relating to interaction with clients;
- Complexity relating to deal origination.

**Level of Authority**:

- Authority to recommend business development and transactions to Head of Business Unit

**Skills**:
1. A professional with satisfactory experience in project finance, asset base finance, corporate finance gained within a leading bank. Around 3 years of experience for an Associate and 5 years of experience for a Senior Associate;
2. Familiarity with petroleum and power generation industries valued.

3. A degree in Economics, in Business Administration, in Law or in Engineering from a well graded university;
