Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer

Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is looking for Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to work on the engineering and project management services in AlKhobar office- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment- Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned projects including technical specifications, datasheets and requisitions for equipment- Review and verification of equipment supplier’s documentation, as well as support during the testing and commissioning of equipment- Management of supplier designs and act as focal point for control of supplier interfaces, including the co-ordination of multi-discipline engineering interfaces- Ensures successful completion of the assigned project/phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints- Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work- Assist with the development of less senior Technical Professionals- Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement- Participate in audits and incident investigations as required- Participate in site visits, project review meetings, design reviews and other workshops as required- Execution of work demonstrating commitment to safety and quality
Skills / Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in oil and gas industry working for an established contractor, operator or consultancy
- Previous experience in the execution of FEED and EPC Projects
- Proficient user of relevant software and calculation templates
are used in work execution
- Professional level of knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Good background in Rotating Equipment
