It helps businesses deploy and run databases in containers in any cloud, on any infrastructure, in any flavor of Kubernetes. You will be solving the most cutting-edge technical challenges in a demanding, fast paced environment. Be organized, attentive to detail, and ready to grow with a growing business. **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING** - Understand prospect's technical needs related to their kubernetes deployments - Design, install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters - Develop Kubernetes-based solutions - CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins), Configuration Management/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet or Ansible - Lead the API/Micro-Services solution deployment and day2 operations - Support and manage customer environments - Work with Portworx Product Engineering customers with cutting-edge solutions - Collaborate with Portworx Support teams to provide excellent customer experience - You will be based in Riyadh. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need. **WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE** - In depth experience deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments - Familiarity with other container orchestration platforms - Linux system administration experience (RHEL, SLES, Debian, Ubuntu) - Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, LoadBalancing) - (Software-defined) Storage (NFS, Block, iSCSI) - In depth experience in troubleshooting complex environments - Proficiency with Kubernetes: - OpenShift - Rancher - Mirantis - Other orchestrators - CI / CD experience (jenkins, airflow, argo) - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, related field or equivalent experience - Automation experience: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform - Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 50% to support customer meetings and critical engagements - Business Fluent English and Arabic Language Skills **ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL**- Scripting skills (bash, python, ruby) - Certified Kubernetes Administrator qualification or equivalent experience. - Virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWare) - Version control systems (git, svn) - Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) - Security (SSL / TLS, kubernetes Secrets, RBAC) - Experience to use the OpenStorage SDK REST and gRPC interfaces - Expertise and working knowledge of Cloud IaaS environments such as VMware, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with HA deployments for modern scale out databases and data processing solutions like Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch **BE YOU—CORPORATE CLONES NEED NOT APPLY.** Pure is where you ask big questions, think differently, and make an impact.
