Financial Reporting Manager

Responsible for Coordinating, supervising, and following-up all accounting activities to ensure the completion and accuracy of the full accounting cycle as per the set accounting standards.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Cost Accountants, Account Receivables and Account Payables Accountants.
- Review all the accounting documents / reports to ensure their accuracy. (i.e. bank reconciliation, journal vouchers, entries etc.).
- Review and approve all entries before posting into the General Ledger and oversee the accurate posting of transactions among all different books and records.
- Coordinate with the external and internal auditors during the audit phase to provide them with the needed documents.
- Review the accuracy and completion of calculated due receivable and payable balances.
- Review the aging report produced from the Account Receivable team.
- Review the accuracy of the stores inventory balances and controls.
- Analyze the direct & indirect costs related to each project and communicates it to the high management in the company.
- Review the preparation of the Trial Balance and Financial Statements released to the stakeholders.
- Responsible for comparing & analyzing the Company performance and trends the Company business plan and budget monthly.
- Responsible for preparing a monthly financial analysis report including the financial data of each unit compared with the budget and the historical data and investigates the reasons of any variances through the concept of cost benefit analysis (if any).
- Analyze the Company’s financial targets and extracts any relevant information.
- Participate in the analysis of any valuation of targeted companies or any proposed merger from financial point of view.
- Participate in the yearly budget process, yearly forecasting and monthly cost of orders analysis also any credit analysis with our credit bank.
- Ensure the proper implementation of internal control procedures.
- Responsible for cash management activities to achieve the non-operating corporate revenue of the company.
- Ensure the following up and collecting the due insurance refund balances.
- Ensure that the receivable and/or payable balances are properly calculated.
- Ensure the timely collection of the expired Letters of Guarantee or collections against them.
- Supervise the financial statements closing process.
- Evaluate the performance of his/her direct subordinates.
- Review and approve the performance evaluations prepared by his subordinates for their team and submits them to the Finance controller.
- Coach, develop, motivate, monitor, and follow up on team members’ performance, quality, and adherence for improving productivity and skills to ensure people development and high performance.
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for the reporting team.
- Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance.
