**Job Summary**:
The Demi Chef De Partie will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of all food preparation and service in their respective Kitchens according to the standards required by the management.
**As a Demi Chef De Partie, we rely on you to**:
Participates in the preparation of food items according to guest orders of consistent quality following recipe cards, production, portion, and presentation standards.
Be responsible for and accountable for the overall food cost, kitchen supplies, kitchen energy costs and kitchen utensils.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the department head from time to time.
Prepares and properly garnishes food orders as they are received in accordance with recipes and proper plate presentation.
Accepts and prepares special orders.
Ensures seasoning, portions and appearance of food.
Stores unused food properly and informs Sous Chef of larger quantities of stored food.
Proactively carries out work to facilitate chefs arriving for the other shifts.
**What we're looking for**:
Minimum 2 years experience in the same position and similar capacity five-star hotel/resort
Minimum 5 years post apprenticeship kitchen experience
Strong English skills
Positive Attitude and willingness to learn.
Display initiative and creativity.
