We are seeking highly experienced **Power System Operations Expert** to support a major client in Saudi Arabia, the expert will work on-site and support operational planning and coordination across key areas of **Outages Management, System Readiness, Operation, and Reporting**.

**Qualifications** Outages Management**
- Coordinate Annual Outage Plans and Critical Outage Requests
- Manage and adjust outage schedules, including weekly rescheduling
- Select and prepare study scenarios for system assessments
- Conduct security assessments and shutdown request evaluations
- Provide operational instructions and manage network arrangements

**Operation**
- Monitor system operations and intervene as necessary
- Analyze critical substations and recommend tap settings
- Provide voltage control and operational event analysis
- Ensure continuous support for real-time and post-event assessments

**System Readiness**
- Conduct summer and seasonal reviews
- Recommend preventive operational measures
- Propose and assess Special Protection Schemes (SPS)

**Reporting**
- Maintain accurate operational records
- Prepare seasonal readiness reports
- Support the development of detailed seasonal reports

**Requirements**:

- ** Minimum 10 years’ experience** in power system operations, planning, or outage coordination
- Familiarity with **PSS/E** software and understanding of its role in operational studies
- Technical degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and liaise with international teams

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Arabic language proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory
- Previous work experience in the GCC or similar environments
- Strong organizational and technical reporting skills
