Monitoring billet cutting operation as per preset billet length in automatic semi-automatic and assist pulpit to cut billet in manual mode from control desk. - Maintain proper pressure and flame of auto cutting torches. - Changing cleaning Cutting Nozzle and torch as and when require. - Cutting billet manually when auto cutter fails. - Cutting samples crop end pieces and salvaging non-standard billets. - Removal of short billet pieces in CCM area and transporting scrap yard. - TCM & Manual Gas cutters servicing/Maintenance. - Skull cutting in apron chamber in case of breakout. - All welding jobs in CCM area. - Housekeeping inside / outside discharge pulpit and surrounding areas. - To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies. - To follow safety instructions related to their jobs. - To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff. - To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions. - To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities. - To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible. - To attend safety trainings planned for them. - Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
