Greet customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items and providing advice or recommendations.
- Provide information about products or current specials.
- Monitoring shelves stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.
- Motivate sales team (co-workers) to meet sales objectives.
- Ensure that items are priced and labeled correctly.
- Respond to customer’s requests, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner.
- Keep the shop clean and tidy.
- Monitor inventory levels and order new items and requested stock for customers.
- Investigate market trends and offer products that would appeal to customers.
- Operating scanners, cash registers and other electronics.
- Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
