Senior Environmental Engineer

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Project Management: take on project management roles, overseeing environmental engineering projects from initiation to completion. They develop project plans, set objectives, establish timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure successful project execution.
- Environmental Assessments: They conduct environmental assessments and impact studies to evaluate potential risks and impacts on the environment. This may involve conducting site investigations, collecting samples, and analyzing data to assess contamination levels, air quality, water quality, noise pollution, or other environmental parameters.
- Regulatory Compliance: ensure that projects and operations comply with environmental regulations and standards. They stay updated on relevant laws, permits, and compliance requirements and work to implement appropriate measures to meet regulatory obligations.
- Pollution Control and Remediation: They design and implement pollution control strategies and remediation plans to mitigate environmental hazards. This includes developing and implementing measures to reduce air emissions, treat wastewater, manage hazardous materials, and remediate contaminated sites.
- Environmental Impact Assessment: Assess the potential environmental impacts of proposed projects or activities. They evaluate the effects on ecosystems, natural resources, and local communities and provide recommendations for minimizing adverse impacts or implementing mitigation measures.
- Sustainable Design and Practices: They promote sustainable design principles and practices by integrating environmental considerations into engineering projects. This may involve incorporating renewable energy systems, optimizing resource efficiency, implementing green building practices, and promoting sustainable waste management strategies.
- Environmental Monitoring and Data Analysis: They establish monitoring programs to track environmental parameters and analyze data to assess environmental performance. This includes monitoring air quality, water quality, soil conditions, or other relevant indicators. They interpret data, identify trends or anomalies, and use this information to make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, community groups, and project teams. They communicate effectively, address concerns, and provide technical expertise and guidance to ensure that projects align with stakeholder needs and expectations.
- Environmental Management Systems: They develop and implement environmental management systems (EMS) to establish processes and practices for effective environmental management within organizations. This may involve developing policies, conducting audits, and monitoring performance to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to environmental objectives.
- Research and Innovation: Senior Environmental Engineers engage in research and development activities to stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and innovative solutions in the field of environmental engineering. They explore new approaches to address environmental challenges and contribute to the advancement of the discipline.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelors degree in engineering and minimum 10+ years of experience
