BSc. or equivalent in Safety/ Engineering

Technical knowledge:

- Understanding of international codes and references such as OSHA, NEBOSH, SBC, IOSH managing safely, etc.
- Strong computer and communication skills, including written & verbal English

Experience:
20+ years of experience

Primary Functions:

- (a) Provide Safety Professionals who can review submissions that we receive from all stakeholders in all stages of the project life cycle, and give expert input and feedback.
- (b) Contribute in preparing RFP, RFQ scope of works for different assigned project that are handled by the HSE department.
- (c) Lead investigations for HSE related incidents, identifying the root and contributing causes, and recommending corrective actions to ensure no recurrence.
- (d) Gather data and report progress on HSE objectives and KPI’s and provide details status and progress updates.
- (e) Prepare and write weekly reports highlighting safety gaps and performance issues to key stakeholders based on approved Safety Plan.
- (f) Schedule and conduct inspection visits and cover the Safety scope, identifying gaps and corrective actions, and create reports, action plans and tracking, to ensure resolution and compliance within specified timescales.
- (g) Engage with key stakeholders in meetings and workshops and complete actions on behalf of the HSE department as appropriately directed.
- (h) Co-ordinate with County Operations HSSE Fire Life Safety, Safety and Operations teams to deliver a collaborative service and minimize site disruption and project delays.

Technical Expertise:

- Certified OSHA/NEBOSH/Lead Auditor/ISO 18001 or 45001_
