AV Technician provides technical advice and service to Executive management, Faculty, staff and students requiring advanced skills and expertise in the operation and support of audiovisual and video conferencing systems across the University. In addition, this position maintains and operates the audiovisual equipment used in classrooms, conference rooms, and other locations including sound, video, projection and related equipment including, but not limited to displays, switchers, Crestron control systems, Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Mediasite Recording Systems.
- Responsible for setup, operation and maintenance of audiovisual and video conferencing systems across the University
- Performs work as an Installer as needed
- Performs AV software and firmware upgrades
- Participates in Preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot/respond to minor problems and provide repair services to maintain operation.
- Assist to KAUST team and Sr. Technicians in complex troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support to customers having functionality issues with their system or components within their system.
- Operate multiple equipment including, but not limited to audio, video, computer display, signal distribution, video recording/playback cameras, camcorders, monitors, smart boards, and Crestron or similar control panels as well as projectors and recorders

**Skills**
- Familiarity with Tandberg video conferencing equipment, Crestron, AV management systems, & Mediasite System.
- Familiarity with AV Integration
- Higher School certificate
- Three (3) years’ Experience in AV Industry.
