**Your responsibilities**:

- Strategy - Responsible to execute a customer-focused Operations strategy derived from the overall business and functional strategy developed for the Local Division, Cluster together with the HB / Global division. Accountable for its relentless execution to achieve defined targets & KPIs.
- Management of Operations
- / Project-Management - Owns and is accountable to deliver KPIs in line with ABB expectations. Accountable to deliver 4C targets for Operations: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity.
- Deploys and manages Project Management system for Project Execution as per IMS and HUB / Global project Management policies.
- Responsible for on-time/on-margin project execution and to deliver project EBITA and cash.
- Budget and Performance Management - Accountable to deliver COGS savings and all other Financial performance KPIs. Accountable to define and deliver the annual budgets for CapEx and OpEx expenses.
- Safety & Integrity - Responsible to implement and sponsor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations across all QO functions. Accountable to ensure a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance.
- Customer Relations - Provides support to Sales staff to improve understanding of customer requirements in order to identify both potential constraints and solutions to these requirements from an operational point of view.
- People Leadership & Development - Accountable that all functions are properly organized, staffed and directed.
- Accountable to build an effective, capable and high-performing organization. Responsible to develop talent, review organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuous skill-upgrades.
- Delivery - Accountable for a sustainable and effective value-chain, from Customer to Supplier and from Order to Delivery (Products, Projects & Service). Accountable for the effective deployment of the respective Procurement and Logistics strategy and for project execution from order to service.
- Quality - Accountable for the effective deployment of ABB’s Quality strategy. Responsible for Quality assurance, Quality control and for the implementation of an integrated quality management system.
- Continuous improvement & Customer Satisfaction - Responsible to champion a culture of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement across the organization. Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures, and of the overall customer satisfaction for area under scope.
- Engineering and Manufacturing Processes - Responsible to ensure master data excellence, deploy manufacturing technology and engineering process standards and establish governance mechanisms to drive and ensure compliance. Adjust Engineering and Manufacturing resources with workload - optimize use of Global Operating centers - as applicable.
- Standards, Governance and Risk Management - Accountable to ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, policies and procedures related to Operations/Project execution. In alignment with the respective Group, Business Area, Global Division and HUB policies, responsible to introduce standards and guidelines, standardized processes, and KPIs. Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations.

**Your background**:

- Ideally, you'll hold an Engineering Degree in Automation (I&C) / Electrical background
- with minimum of 15 years of total experience of which at least 10 yrs. shall be in managing 35-50M$ / yr. revenue of automation and electrical project-oriented business as head of project management or as operations Manager.
- Good communication, proven leadership, handled multi-national / multi-cultural TEAM, Hands own project Management experience & management of relevant business KPIs.
- Middle East experience, Arabic Language skills.
