**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Formulates and deliver Healthcare Information Technology Affairs (HITA) Strategy and HITA Master Plan in alignment with the Hospital vision, mission and values across the respective branch of the hospital.
- Fosters the innovative culture and programs across the respective branch of the Hospital.
- Promotes, oversees, and preserves strategic relationships between internal HTA resources and external entities for better alignment of HITA branch operations.
- Provides leadership when engaged in large cross-functional teams and influence people at a variety of levels internally and externally for the smooth HITA branch operation.
- Stays abreast of emerging technologies, healthcare industry trends, advancements and solutions.
- Monitors branch HITA operation performance for HITA Projects and produce reports on all branch related projects.
- Oversees the development of technology policies, governance processes and systems as well as recommends changes in line with regulations and international best practices for the respective branch of the hospital.
- Evaluates, adopts and enforces best-practiced HITA standards for the HITA branch operations reflective of KFSH&RC needs, customer demands and market trends.

**Education**:
PhD or Master's Degree inInformation Management, or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
Eight (8) years ofrelated experience with PhD, or eleven (11) years with Master’s Degree,including five (5) years in a seniority position is required.
