**Job Description Summary**:

- The Senior Laboratory Technician performs Specimen Receiving, Processing, centrifugation, Aliquoting sorting and distribution of Blood and non.Blood patient specimens to be testing in different lab units. collection of soiled glassware and equipment, decontamination by autoclaving of equipment used for infectious materials, washing and drying as appropriate routine/expensive laboratory glassware.

- Preform Specimen Receiving Processing centrifugation Aliquoting sorting and distribution of Blood and nonBlood patient specimens to be tested in different lab units
- Perform phlebotomy and other job related miscellaneous activities requested Collect blood frominpatients and outPatients by finger stick or venipuncture
- Perform low complexity testing when assigned in any Lab technical unit and as needed
- Perform Collection of soiled glassware and equipment decontamination by autoclaving of equipment used for infectious materials washing and drying as appropriate routineexpensive laboratory glassware

**Minimum Education Required**:

- High School Certificate (12 years schooling) or 2 3 years diploma in medical technology or Bachelor degree in Chemistry or biological sciences.

**Professional Certifications Required**:

- Saudi Commission for health specialties Licensure requirement must be met. SCFHS as Lab Technician

**Years of Experience**:

- Minimum 6 year working in clinical laboratory or relevant job for the high school certificate only. Minimum 2 years for the diploma holder. 0.1 for bachelor of science holder.

**Languages**:

- English:Basic ; Arabic:Not Required
