Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently looking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to support our Client for the Construction of an industrial Project in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia.
- Support the Client for all Construction activities related to the discipline
- Liaise with construction personnel and addresses site queries during construction
- Review, comment on and approves drawings related to his field of activity
- Review and comment on supplier and other discipline drawings
- Advise the Construction team on site and propose corrective actions for any technical issues / discrepancies during Construction
- Perform all assigned work to agreed standards for safety, health environment and demonstrate a commitment to attaining high levels of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) performance
- Take technical decisions with regards to site issues that are in line with the relevant standards
- Responsible for ensuring that all assigned activities are carried out within the stipulated time schedules
- Prepare design sketches if required
- Attend site progress meetings
- Perform such duties as may reasonably be assigned by the supervising Construction Engineer
- Verify that all designs and construction are to required standards, that the objectives of the project are met and that the works is completed to the agreed schedule

Skills / Qualifications:

- BS in Civil Engineering
- 15 years' minimum industrial experience
- 10 years’ experience working on Construction sites
- ** Relevant work experience on Saudi Aramco Projects (Design and Construction) is a must**:

- ** Full knowledge of Saudi Aramco Standards**:

- ** Relevant work experience on the construction of Industrial buildings (Structural, architectural, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)**:

- High level of spoken and written English is mandatory
