**Role Purpose**:
Manages the operations and maintenance of all Electrical activities in the project section of a large High-End Facility and provides technical support.
**Essential qualifications and experience**:
Bachelor of Engineering Electrical
Minimum 12 years hands on maintenance experience in a large organization eg. University Campus, High End Hotels, High-End Estates etc.
Minimum 4 years supervisory experience
Conflict resolution
Project management (Refurbishment-Rehabilitation-engineering)
Multi-trade discipline encompassing facility management, purchasing/procurement, T&C.
**Desired**:
LEED certified, Facility Management Professional® (FMP) certified or any certification related to the relevant field.
Diverse background including construction, quality control/assessment, engineering, procurement, facility management.
Techno-commercial approach and experience.
Resources and time management.
Project management certification and planning experience
**Key Accountabilities**:
Anchors the technical activities and manages the Electrical section.
Plans the operations of the Electrical section eg. setup priorities and approves work orders.
Ensures proper implementation of QMS and MMS processes.
Conducts general inspections to ensure quality and site readiness.
Coordinate section affairs with project management and division technical support.
Analyses general performance of the section, implements corrective actions, improvement and produces reports to his superiors.
Evaluates Electrical equipment and system status and recommends modification and upgrading.
Supports subordinates in developing their competences.
Ensures client complaints are resolved timeously.
Seeks expert’s advice as and when needed.
Provides technical support when required.
Manages and evaluates the Electrical Section’s manpower.
Initiates, approves, and follows up supply chain and logistics to ensure adequacy.
Attends promptly to major faults.
Leads Commissioning of new Electrical equipment and follows up lifting of M0.
Supervise three to seven Electrical supervisors.
Undertake any other duties or assignment as required from time to time by management.
