Job Purpose Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities - Responsible and taking lead for Turnkey execution of APC/OPT related project. - Understands and complies with Yokogawa approach in Project implementation, procedures and instructions - Participate and support the sales activities and to conduct benefits feasibility study on potential APC Projects. - Use strong technical knowledge, primary product line or vertical industry solution available to satisfy customers’ needs. - Prepare/present technical presentations for campaigns, proposal and client visits. - Prepare/coordinate remote presentations for the client via Web-conference. - Able to do demos on relevant technologies and tools. - Respond to client questions and requests in timely fashion. - Support Sales Managers to close deals. - Keep updated with the relevant technology developing inside and outside Yokogawa. - Be a team player through team work, team learning and information sharing. - Ability to groom junior engineer for support and taking lead eventually. Qualification and Experience - Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering is a must, master/graduate degree preferred. - Knowledge of Yokogawa/Shell APC Technology is preferred. - Approximately 40% to 60% travel. Competencies - Understanding of one or more of the following businesses: Oil and gas production, Refineries, Chemical plants. - Possess good skill set and ability to perform consistently in DCS/APC related areas of the job assigned - Knowledge in Advance Solutions products (preferably SMOC, RQE, DMCPlus etc) and implementation processes - Knowledge in DCS related setup and able to perform loop tuning and improvement on controller base layer. - Basic understanding of APC product knowledge and industry standards and practices **Skills**: - Fluency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. - Capability in conducting business in English both in speaking and writing. - Familiarity with available technology such as Hysys, SMOC/RQE, DMCplus, OSI-PI is a plus.
