**Job Summary**

SAS Global are currently hiring for a Project Director with experience within the construction of large multi billion dollar mixed use (VVIP residential, commercial, hospitality & sports) programmes across the GCC for a leading international consultancy to be based in Riyadh, KSA.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies.
- Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program, project, or subtask.
- Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected suppliers during the program execution. Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client. Assists business development in understanding client issues and business plans in order to market and secure new/additional work.
- Promotes technical excellence on the project, including furtherance of the Quality Improvement Process.
- Mobilises Company resources, through effective communication with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
- Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths. Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinates.
- Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
- May participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies and in public meetings in support of clients.
- Oversees establishment of Work Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan

**Requirements**:

- Must be degree and/or masters degree qualified in engineering or construction from an accredited western university
- Must be fluent in English both written and spoken
- Must have worked in a director or senior leadership position
- At least 15+ years experience managing large scale mixed use construction programmes, preferably with at least 5 years spent in the Middle East
