Technically responsible for RTU & SCADA projects execution from the order through to project completion, including site start-up and commissioning support. This includes technical management of the engineers (including best cost) assigned to the project, and Providing the technical solution to the project as per the requirements.

To provide support for Systems & Solutions assigned products and services including, but not limited to, control system programming, control system graphics development, maintenance services, diagnostics, commissioning, start-up and project execution. This job will include 80% of the time traveling in country.

**Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following**:

- Manage and coordinate with different teams, plan and deliver the project on time.
- Develop the system engineering project lifecycle deliverables namely; Functional Design Specifications, System Design Specifications, Test Specifications, Software coding, hardware design, assembly, unit testing, and third-party supply.
- Closely work with the project manager and order the material on time.
- Follow up with different vendors, and review and approve their technical quotations.
- Support engineering teams incl. back office resources in the delivery of project deliverables.
- Manage and provide system defect resolutions.
- Manage and provide technical support on and off-site for Emerson and customer engineers.
- Work with the Service Manager and the Engineering Manager to develop, maintain and deliver qualifying training curriculum for customers and Emerson personnel, in line with Emerson’s certifying programs.
- Provide customer site support for start-up and commissioning.
- Provide sales support on and off-site.
- Development of system technical solutions within bid submission timescales.
- In-depth knowledge of Emerson SCADA OE and RTUs (CW and ROC)
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Aramco standards installed base and execution strategies
- Configure the Hardware/software and Implement the RTU/PLC Programs as per the customer requirements.
- Support to Proposal and sales team to provide technical solutions, estimations and approve the solution
- Work closely with the Engineering manager to manage the resource requirements and deliver the project within the budget and schedule.
- Identifying the scope gaps and highlighting them to the customer in a change order.
- Conduct the CDR / PDR meeting with the customer independently.
- Conduct the PreFAT and FAT independently.
- Good analytical skills to solve issues.
- Knowing Emerson products is an added advantage.
- Review the drawings and deliverables before submitting them to the customer.
- Effectively utilize the Emerson tools and Quality standards in all the projects.

**What do I need to be considered for this role?
- Bachelor Engineering Degree (Instrumentation & Control preferred)
- 10 to 12 years of experience in process automation projects
- Minimum 5 years of experience on Saudi Aramco Projects as an Lead Engineer.
- Knowledge of Emerson SCADA and RTUs
