- Provide an empowering view of SAUDI mission, vision, values, and key strategic objectives so that the Senior Leadership is fully aware of the company's current as well as planned future position in the market and main strategic drivers, and the employees at various levels are continuously guided in terms of their expected behaviors.
**Corporate Strategy Formulation & Business Planning**
- Lead and direct the top management team in the formulation and implementation of overall strategies and plans to achieve the mission and meet the objectives of SAUDI and the larger interests of the shareholders and the regional requirements
- Obtain Board approval and lead the implementation of the SAUDI long-term business plan to enable the achievement of agreed objectives.
**Leadership**
- Champion effective leadership to manage direct reports' performance, recruitment, and development to ensure their understanding of their role in achieving SAUDI's mission, vision, strategy whilst raising levels of engagement and functional performance.
**Policies, Procedures, Corporate Governance and Risk**
- Provide overall direction to the development and implementation of policies, processes, procedures, guidelines, and controls in order to ensure that SAUDI activities are fully integrated and delivered to best practice standards.
- Lead and direct the development and implementation of sound corporate governance practices compliant with international standards that support SAUDI's operations and protect its interests.
- Ensure organizational adherence and commitment to the Corporate Governance and support the Board to fulfil their responsibilities and statutory obligations.
- Ensure risk management processes are in place to mitigate risks and safeguard the interests of SAUDI.
**Financial Planning and Reporting**
- Oversee the preparation of the annual budgets and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs / revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
- Work closely with other C-level Executives to recommend a high-level capital plan that defines SAUDI's anticipated major capital expenditure to the Board of Directors and ensure that SAUDI has the physical capability to meet its strategic objectives and is aware of the likely impact of capital expenditure on cash flows.
- Report regularly to the Board about progress towards organizational objectives, financial status of the organization and other issues of concern to ensure that the Board is kept informed of material information relating to the performance and financial health of SAUDI in line with sound principles and corporate governance practices.
**Business Growth and Profitability Optimization**
- Aggressively review with other C-level Executives and other technical team members, as needed the functional / departmental plans, targets and lines of business to ensure that SAUDI is well positioned to maximize economic and market opportunities.
**Networking and Market Intelligence**
- Maintain an extensive network of political, business and market contacts in the region and global military aviation markets to ensure that SAUDI is optimally placed in its understanding of political, economic and commercial challenges and opportunities.
- Maintain a thorough awareness of market conditions in the GCC and international markets to allow informed decision-making concerning the overall business strategy mainly pertaining to growth.
