Job Description

Our Client: A large conglomerate with a significant contract with the manufacturing of defense components as well as partnerships with international organizations.

Your Role: The role is based in Jeddah and the incumbent would be responsible for continuous evolution and execution of the supply chain strategy. You need to bring in detailed knowledge of supply chain requirements across the program life cycle, including competency in procurement, commodity management, materials forecasting and controls, distribution, inventory management, and supplier management. Understanding of complex business relationships, with a focus on the KSA Defense industry environment.

Understanding of supply chain program operations and financial management. Ability to develop and execute plans to assist the company leadership to achieve their financial and performance goals and objectives, including demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies. Understanding of import and export requirements including freight forwarding and customs clearance, and US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Must Have: MBA or Bachelors Degree with 12+ years of relevant experience in the supply chain. Familiarity with the procurement practices, laws, regulations and policies of KSA and of the US Government. Experience collaborating through established Defense and Aerospace practices and capabilities across all businesses. Demonstrated experience in program supply chain operations and financial management, including material requirements planning and supplier relationship management, source selection, & supplier due diligence. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
